Community Guidelines
Streamlit is committed to fostering a respectful online environment for our Streamlit community, and these Community Guidelines help promote an open and inclusive environment. We encourage community members to moderate their Streamlit apps. It is important that users remain respectful, and we encourage community members to look to these guidelines to inform how they interact with each other on our platform. These Community Guidelines apply to all User Content on the Streamlit Forum, Streamlit Community Cloud, and any other place where User Content may appear.
The following outlines (i) our Code of Conduct; (ii) types of objectionable content that we do not allow on our platform; (iii) the reporting process for users to flag objectionable content; and (iv) and the steps we take to moderate objectionable content. Our goal is to maintain a high standard of content quality such that the platform remains a welcoming and safe space for the Streamlit community while also upholding our policies and legal obligations.
We will interpret our policy and resolve disputes in favor of protecting the Streamlit community and platform as a whole.
Our Code of Conduct
We are committed to maintaining a positive environment that is open to one another’s ideas and opinions, and we remind you to share and contribute in a courteous manner. Keep these in mind as you collaborate and interact as a valued member of the Streamlit community:

- Demonstrate empathy and kindness toward other people;
- Give and gracefully accept constructive feedback; and
- Focus on what is best not just for us as individuals, but for the overall community.

How To Report Content
You can bring issues to the attention of our Content Moderation Team using the following processes:
To Report an App: Using the reporting form found at https://info.snowflake.com/streamlit-flag-an-app.html; or sending an email to streamlitcommunity@snowflake.comwith the subject "Flag an app."
To Report a Forum Post: Using the “flag” icon below the post; or sending an email to streamlitcommunity@snowflake.com with the subject “Flag a forum post.”
How We Moderate Content
Our content moderation process involves the use of both automated systems and human moderators to review and assess reported content. When content is flagged for review by either of the above mechanisms, it will be sent for review by our Content Moderation Team.
Our Content Moderation Team will review the reported content and assess whether it violates our policies. Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in one or more of the following:
- Issuing a warning;
- Removing the content;
- Suspending or closing user accounts; or
- Taking other appropriate action.
While we do review every instance of reported content, we may not send a direct response for each complaint. We use our discretion in determining when and how to follow up on reported incidents.
If we decide to remove your content, we will notify you at the email address associated with your account.
If your Content was removed and you want to appeal that decision, email us at streamlitcommunity@snowflake.com. A member of the Streamlit team will review your appeal and determine whether your content should be reinstated.
